1873 - Dunes Reflection: Luxury Oceanfront

This unit was a perfect place for our family Christmas vacation....my wife and I with five full grown adult children. The unit was extremely clean upon arrival and the management team (Doris) check on us several times throughout our stay. We have stayed at several places over the years (prior property owner family as well) at AIP and each one of my kids and wife said this was their favorite place to stay.

Our family had an exceptional time on Amelia Island, staying at Turtle Dunes. Laily and Doris were outstanding hosts, and any time we needed assistance, or clarification, they were quick on the texts to give us links, or provide clarity. The actual unit is amazing, we loved the two levels, where people can go for some peace and quiet upstairs, while the rest played games or sat out on the deck to enjoy the unparalleled views. The extended Omni properties are beautiful, and just walking the trails or even the road gave testament to the care and meticulous groundskeeping as well. The beach was great for walking or swimming, and just general relaxing.

Nice quiet area that is gated with security. Feels safe. Beautiful beachfront property views. Sunrise is amazing! Furnishings are well kept and we liked the decor because it was very traditional. Great little restaurants nearby including Marche’ Burette for breakfast and lunch, Falcon’s Nest and Bob’s Chophouse. All very good. Bantam & Biddy near Harris Teeter was great for breakfast, too. Salty Pelican in downtown Fernandina is good every time….never disappoints. Go see Fort Clinch…very neat history. Lots of walking paths and trails, good for biking, too.

The unit was beautiful and very comfortable. There was a large water stain on the ceiling by the balcony door which after we brought it to their attention, was told it recently had occurred and would soon be repaired. The listing originally said their was a pool and jacuzzi on property, but their was no jacuzzi for AirBnB clients to use and the pool did not look as if it had been maintained (an off green color). We stayed 3 nights and management supplied just enough supplies for 3 days. If you enjoy cooking, bring extra kitchen towels; and personal wash cloths as only a few are provided. The view and beach are beautiful for a relaxing getaway and the apartment is furnished very nice and well maintained (except for the water stain).

It was a very recent issue, and we had a contractor inspect it right away to ensure it was only cosmetic and safe for your stay before scheduling the final repair. I’m also sorry for the confusion about the spa/jacuzzi—the listing amenity has been updated. Regarding the pool, we apologize for its off-color appearance. Unfortunately, it was affected by the recent storm, and the association was actively treating it to restore its clarity during your stay. Regarding supplies, we provide a 3-day starter kit for all guests. We’ll certainly evaluate adding more kitchen towels and washcloths going forward, and will make sure to update our listing to clarify what is provided. Family Vacation
We traveled to Amelia Island with our two sons, ages 16 and 19. The condo was perfect for us! The boys enjoyed having the queen sized beds in the second bedroom. The location was great, as well, with the tennis courts nearby, pool right outside the front door, and just a short walk to the beach. Amelia Island Plantation is a wonderful property with many dining options on site. We look forward to our next visit and would definitely stay in this unit again.

Amazing
Very clean, quiet and spacious villa. Great place to relax and the view from all rooms was amazing. Laily was very accommodating and checked in on us several times until just after check in. Everything was perfect and I couldn’t think of one thing to complain about!

Wonderful Family Getaway
This was a perfect setting for a family vacation. The house was spacious and well-appointed. The view was amazing and we loved watching the sunrise each morning. Our host checked in several times and was available if we needed anything. I would definitely go back!

Beautiful views, great location
This is a spacious property with an absolutely beautiful view of the ocean! It is a great location within the property and the listing manager was very easy to work with. While it was very clean, the inside of the condo is starting to show its wear and needs some touch up (to paint, dinged corners, etc) for the price being charged. Putting this aside, it is definitely a place to consider renting if you are staying on Amelia Island!

We had a lovely experience staying at Turtle Dunes , Amelia Island Airbnb. The host was incredibly welcoming and provided clear instructions for check-in, which made our arrival and stay seamless. The place itself was beach cozy and exactly as described in the listing. The decor was charming, and it felt like a home away from home. I especially enjoyed the comfortable bed and the well-equipped kitchen, which allowed us to have coffee and prepare a quick breakfast in the mornings. The location was fantastic, with incredible ocean views from the 2 patio decks. I appreciated the quiet nature feel , making it easy to relax to the sound of ocean waves. Overall, I highly recommend for anyone looking for an incredible family beach escape. We will definitely return!

Great Condo!
Three couples stayed here for the GA/FL game. What we liked best is that each bedroom was suitable for a couple and each bedroom had its own attached bathroom. All the bedrooms are on the second floor and there is a half bath on the main floor. The condo is very clean and the views are awesome. We would definitely stay here again.

The condo was very clean & perfectly organized- everything you need and very comfortable & peaceful. The master bedroom was perfect with the ocean view & it has a large bathroom with a huge jacuzzi tub! It’s a very easy walk down to the pool and steps away to the beach - We especially enjoyed our evenings sitting out on the balcony- so beautiful and such a great breeze. Laily was such a sweet host & very helpful with any questions we had, very delightful!! My husband & I really enjoyed our stay for our anniversary getaway & we will definitely be going back!!
